Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our supportive team in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers, supporting students with their daily activities, and contributing to the overall educational experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Philadelphia, PA (onsite) and Sacramento, CA
• Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
• Start Date: Immediate openings available (ASAP - June)
• Compensation: Competitive salary
• Openings: Several full-time and part-time positions available

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the classroom with instructional support
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students with special needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as recess or lunch

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a paraprofessional certification preferred
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
• Must be comfortable with toileting/diapering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student learning
