Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced IT Support Specialist – Network and Desktop Infrastructure, you will be responsible for providing daily specialized support for our network infrastructure and internal workstations. Your duties will include:
- Answering client support requests and determining the technical support issue (i.e., software or hardware related) and escalating to TSG as necessary
- Communicating with clients via telephone to discuss recognized issues or concerns and resolve the issues (e.g., equipment or software glitch, client error, etc.)
- Investigating recognized issues by gathering information, assessing web information sources, or potentially internal sites to identify solutions and work towards resolution
- Conducting site visits within the region to investigate issues and install or upgrade equipment and software as necessary
- Following up with clients to ensure issues were resolved completely
- Completing service orders to prevent functional delays in resolving issues
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Ability to convey highly technical information to both technical and non-technical clients
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (client/server)
- Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Phantom, Symantec, Desktop Applications, Dynamic Registry, and other Internet browsers (desired)
- Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCP (desired)
- Technical work experience (desired)
