Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Support Agent to join our remote team. As a contractor, you'll work closely with our clients, providing quick and effective solutions to their technical, logistical, and administrative needs. With a strong focus on professionalism, patience, and product knowledge, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction in our online learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Support Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via email, chat, phone, and web-based tools, ensuring timely and effective solutions to technical and non-technical issues
  • Accurately identifying and troubleshooting complex problems, escalating them to internal team members when necessary
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of our programs, learning content, and technical products, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality enhancement
  • Monitoring live online video conferencing events and providing immediate assistance to participants
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a SaaS company or product/technology division
  • Poise and professionalism to respond to high-level executives from around the world, with executive support experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to diverse environments and scenarios
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM), website backend/administrative interfaces (e.g. Wordpress/Rails Admin), cloud-based tools, and exposure to help desk software
  • Outstanding task management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Japanese is highly valued
