Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QuickBooks Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Part-Time QuickBooks Specialist Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks, preparing client proposals, tracking expenses, processing payments, and providing monthly financial reports and forecasts. Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Client Proposals: Prepare detailed proposals for clients, including scope and pricing, to meet their specific needs. • Deposit Management: Record and track client deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to maintain a positive cash flow. • Purchase Orders & Vendor Payments: Create and manage purchase orders, vendor deposits, and payments, including processing vendor invoices to ensure timely payment. • Bill Payment: Pay general monthly bills and manage recurring expenses to maintain a smooth financial operation. • Client Billing: Generate and send client invoices; track payments and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment. • Expense Tracking & Reconciliation: Track all spending, categorize expenses, and reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Monthly Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare monthly financial reports, including cash flow, expense reports, and forecasted budget analysis to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with QuickBooks, ideally in a similar role, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with basic accounting principles to ensure seamless financial operations. • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in financial record-keeping to maintain a high level of quality and compliance. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor and client interactions to build strong relationships and ensure timely communication. • Availability: Flexible availability for 10-20 hours per week to accommodate our team's needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Relevant Industry: Experience in the furniture design, interior design, or manufacturing industry would be an asset, as it would provide a deeper understanding of our business operations. • Background in Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: A background in financial forecasting and budgeting would be beneficial, as it would enable you to provide valuable insights and recommendations for business growth. • Self-Starter with Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills would be an asset, as it would enable you to identify and resolve financial issues efficiently and effectively.
