Responsibilities

As a Remote Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple QuickBooks accounts by accurately entering transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and lines of credit in QuickBooks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reviewing vendor and customer accounts to ensure accurate accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), ensuring timely payment and invoicing.
• Preparing and providing detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensuring accurate documentation for all transactions, maintaining a secure and compliant financial record.
• Supporting small businesses in achieving their financial goals by offering ongoing assistance and timely reminders, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Associate's degree (2-year) or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
• Experience managing multiple QuickBooks accounts for various businesses, showcasing your ability to work with multiple clients and financial systems.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Excellent phone communication skills with a professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Ability to write and edit professional correspondence, maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ensuring seamless integration with QuickBooks and other financial systems.
• QuickBooks Online certification, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge of QuickBooks and financial software.
