Tutor (Clinician) Position Details

As a Tutor (Clinician) at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational services to students of all ages. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to provide one-to-one and small group instruction, implementing specific lesson plans and utilizing our proprietary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person or online, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership
• Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment
• Manage client records electronically using a computer
• Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximize learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable
• Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions
• Passion for helping others reach their potential

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience (not required)
• Experience working with students with learning challenges
• Familiarity with educational software and technology
