Job Summary

We are seeking a certified and experienced Virtual Language Tutor to provide online instruction to students in grades 6-12. As a Fullmind educator, you will have access to our educator portal, where you can select the jobs that align with your certification and availability. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, with a competitive hourly rate of $28-$35, depending on the opportunity. We offer flexible scheduling, with part-time and full-time options available, as well as the chance to work from home and enjoy a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality virtual academic instruction to assigned students and lead them through successful course completion
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans aligned with class curriculum
• Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Develop strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
• Keep track of student grades and performance
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in online education

Requirements

• Active, USA state-issued teaching certification in a language subject area (grades 6-12) in one of the following states: New York, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Montana, or California
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Complete a mini lesson and submit a background check as part of the application process
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus
