We are seeking a compassionate and experienced educator to provide personalized instruction and support in a fully virtual learning environment. As a Special Education Teacher with our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the academic growth and success of students with diverse needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored educational experiences for students with disabilities in a 100% virtual setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) to ensure student progress and achievement.
- Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, performance, and IEP implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- Active Maryland licensure with a Special Education endorsement.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
