About the Role

As our Marketplaces Growth Leader, you will develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies for our portfolio companies, driving sales, profitability, and brand growth on marketplaces. You will partner with marketing teams to activate go-to-market strategies, improve consumer connection, and elevate the brand experience. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of marketplaces, optimize our online presence, and stay ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of marketplaces, including sales analysis, pricing, and inventory management
  • Lead end-to-end ad campaign management, including goal setting, budget allocation, and performance measurement
  • Agency sourcing and management
  • Weekly and monthly reporting, insights, and analysis on business performance, opportunities, and risks
  • Develop and complete promotional strategies during key consumer selling periods
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to achieve ROI targets
  • Audit existing content and identify gaps in content assets; work with creative teams to develop on-brand content
  • Resolve product listings issues, identify and rectify recycled UPC problems, and optimize inventory management practices
  • Spearhead the setup and monitoring of FBA, AWD, WFS shipments, and optimize inventory management practices
  • Monitor performance against key metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Proactively seek growth opportunities to accelerate revenue, grow market share, and improve search rank
  • Provide regular marketplace performance updates, recommendations, and course corrections to the Executive Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
  • 5+ years of Amazon (1P+ 3P) and other e-commerce marketplace management experience
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving marketplace performance
  • Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, SEO, and digital marketing strategies
  • Experience with revenue and advertising forecasting and P&L management
  • Strong financial, merchandising, and planning analysis skills
  • Proficiency in using marketplace management tools and software
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluency with Excel and dashboarding tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
