As a Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule and finances. You will work full-time hours (35-40 hours per week), including indirect time, and will be compensated for 100% of your working hours.

Position Details:

• Contract: 1099 independent contracting structure
• Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
• Platform: Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
• Rate: $28-35/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide synchronous online instruction for students with IEPs
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs
• Facilitate virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members

Requirements:

• Degree: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
• Certification: South Carolina state certification for Special Education
• Experience: Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred
• Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions, strong internet connection, and capability to run Zoom or Microsoft Teams
