We are currently looking for a Package Delivery Specialist for a part-time position mainly under 4 hours. Job Description
As a UPS Package Delivery Specialist, you will be the face of our company, ensuring the timely, secure, and cost-effective delivery of packages to our customers. You will be driving a vehicle provided by the company, delivering packages to both residential and commercial locations.
Responsibilities
– Loading, unloading, sorting, and delivering packages to customers on assigned routes
– Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, charges are correct, and customers are satisfied
– Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
– Observe and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
– Manage and maintain records such as vehicle logs according to federal and state regulations
Requirements
– Valid professional drivers license
– Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Good driving record with no traffic violations
– High School Diploma
– Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs
Experience
Previous job experience as a driver would be an advantage. However, paid training will be provided.
