Job Description

As a Flight Attendant at Southwest Airlines, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every flight is a welcoming and safe experience for our passengers. You will serve on the front line of our operations and embody our dedication to customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

– Provide exemplary customer service to ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction

– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate emergency procedures

– Serve beverages, snacks, and meals as required

– Assist passengers with special needs, including children and those with disabilities

– Address and resolve any customer queries or concerns during the flight

– Ensure compliance with all aviation laws and regulations

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years

– High school diploma or GED (further credentials in hospitality or customer service are a plus)

– Ability to pass a rigorous training program and maintain mandatory certifications

– Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently (bilingual abilities are a plus)

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Must be adaptable and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

– Physical ability to perform job duties, including being able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as being on your feet for extended periods
