[Remote] Platform Engineer: Platform Solutions (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Constructor is an AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform launched in 2019, helping shoppers find the right products while enabling global e-commerce brands to enhance revenue and conversion. The Platform Engineer will design, develop, and optimize custom platform services to ensure system resilience, security, and performance, collaborating with engineers across the organization to deliver infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize custom platform services to ensure systems are resilient, secure, and performant
- Collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that align with business needs and support the growth of the platform
Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go (preferred), Java, Python, C# or similar
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS)
- Familiarity with cloud-native system design best practices
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation (preferred), Terraform or Pulumi
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS)
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and distributed systems
- Understanding of web concepts and security, including OAuth, SAML, CORS, Cookies, and HTTP security
- Go (preferred)
- CloudFormation (preferred)
