Join our TLE Astoria community to provide the quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development. As a floating teacher we need someone who can: Work with a range of age aground (infants, toddlers, 2's, 3's, and 4 year olds) Ensure the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children Support progressive/inquiry-based learning Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols We are looking for 2 specific part-time schedules: a 7am-12pm and a 1pm-6pm for Monday-Friday Role Responsibilities: Overall classroom management: leading/creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can play and learn. Serve as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children?s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Build relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
