You will work remotely from our Hospice Center, collaborating with a dynamic multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing school atmosphere. Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Occasional evening shifts may be required based on school needs.
  • Rotating weekends may be scheduled to ensure consistent mental health service coverage.
  • Some on-call availability will be necessary for urgent mental health situations.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, taking into account their personal history, presenting concerns, and risk factors.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in partnership with students to address mental health issues, enhance emotional well-being, and facilitate successful integration into the school community.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to support students’ mental health needs.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals for higher levels of care as necessary.
