Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate I, your duties will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets to prevent loss and theft
  • Keeping the store well-stocked and recovering merchandise to ensure a seamless shopping experience
  • Receiving merchandise and helping with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
  • Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred)
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
  • Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
