Key Responsibilities
As an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing virtual customer service to our clients' customers across a variety of industries, including Retail, Healthcare, Licensed Insurance, Non-Licensed Insurance, and Tax Support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
- Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues
- Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
- Providing a high-level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
- Managing multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
- Strong customer service and written skills
- Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
- Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for your own tax obligations and will submit invoices for completed services. Programs have varying pay structures, but most programs pay for time spent talking on the phone and assisting callers. You may also receive performance-based pay or other incentives.
Application and Certification Process
To become an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll need to:
- Complete an application to join arenaflex Nation
- Pass a background and credit check (with a $45 processing fee paid directly to our vendor)
- Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
- Complete a W9 form
- Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program
Program Metrics Requirements
Some programs may require Independent Contractors to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be outlined in the program details.
Availability
As an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work at times that suit you best. You'll be able to self-schedule in 30-minute blocks and dictate when and how often you commit to servicing our clients. The more you service, the higher your earning potential!
