Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone or written correspondence, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
- Assisting with insurance verification processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintaining organized filing systems for medical records and documentation.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers and insureds regarding claims status and additional documentation that may be required.
- Utilizing financial software to manage patient accounts and track payments.
- Ensuring that all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with company policies.
- Working closely with team members to improve customer service processes and enhance overall client satisfaction.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous call center experience in a healthcare or insurance setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of medical billing processes, including ICD coding, CPT coding, state and federal regulations, and financial software applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
