Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and manage our data pipelines. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You'll work closely with our analysts, scientists, and engineers to ensure that our data pipelines are scalable, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and manage our data pipelines, ensuring that all client event data is consistently ingested into our data warehouse
- Create authoritative datasets to track key product metrics, including user growth, engagement, and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Foundation, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research, to understand their data needs and provide solutions
- Develop and implement robust and issue-free frameworks for data ingestion and processing
- Participate in data architecture and design decisions, bringing expertise and data to the table
- Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3)
- Familiarity with ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of data storage and the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage code
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA
