Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced data entry specialist to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a data entry specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. This is a full-time remote position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and inform data-driven decisions
- Design and implement data visualization and reporting solutions to support business needs
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and errors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong knowledge of SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL) and Python programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Strong understanding of data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with automated workflows and scripts, such as Docker and GitLab
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally AWS
- Experience managing and delivering code using a source control tool, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience using Docker and containerization
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA
