Key Responsibilities of the Verizon Customer Service Associate

As a Verizon Customer Service Associate, you will be the direct point of contact for our consumer base, providing accurate and timely answers, navigating the sales process, and delivering an unforgettable experience that keeps our customers coming back. Your core daily functions will include:

  • Working directly with our customer base to enroll them through the sales process
  • Demonstrating expertise in our clients' products and services
  • Answering customer questions and concerns regarding pricing, policies, contracts, sales, and delivery processes
  • Interacting professionally and empathetically with customers, management, and other Verizon Customer Service Associates
  • Following all compliance, guidelines, and procedures laid out by our Quality Control team throughout the sales process and interaction
  • Maintaining up-to-date files with the compliance department on new and existing customer accounts throughout their sales process to delivery

Verizon Customer Service Associate Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of Customer Service and/or sales experience (preferred and recommended)
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment where you are comfortable working with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team
  • Strong multi-tasking and initiative-taking skills
