Key Responsibilities

As an Oil & Transport Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner, providing courteous and professional service to our customers
  • Working with our dispatch team to schedule fuel deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Processing orders for customers, ensuring they receive the best price and delivery options available
  • Completing customer bids and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner to ensure arenaflex obtains the order
  • Supporting overall department goals and objectives, and performing administrative duties as assigned

Key Candidate Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred
  • At least one year of previous Customer Service Experience in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Demands

As an Oil & Transport Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to:

  • Stand, walk, sit for long periods, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Talk or hear, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

As an Oil & Transport Customer Service Representative, you'll work in a dynamic environment that's a mix of phone calls and computer-related tasks. Customer inquiries can fluctuate based on seasonal demands, which may affect office hour requirements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
