Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Product Testers to work from home nationwide in the US, fulfilling upcoming contracts with national and international companies. As an In-Home Usage Tester, you'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly pay rate of $25-$45 per hour, depending on the project, and work around your own schedule. With no experience required, this is an ideal entry-level opportunity for those looking for flexible or seasonal work, temporary work, or part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
As an In-Home Usage Tester, your main duties will include:
- Properly documenting In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
- Taking care of the product being tested and using it responsibly
- Reading and strictly following the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
- Participating in some In-Home Usage Tests projects that may require the use of MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses)
- Engaging in private chat rooms that are opened by market research firms to discuss the product being tested
- Writing reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project
Requirements
To succeed as an In-Home Usage Tester, you'll need:
- The ability to follow specific instructions and maintain attention to detail
- A curious spirit and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Access to a digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures
- Honesty and reliability
- Good communication skills (an asset)
- Be at least 18 years old
