The arenaflex Customer Alliance Internship Program

As a Customer Alliance Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including storytelling and communications, cross-functional collaboration, program operations, measurement and reporting, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Alliance Summer Intern, you will contribute to strategic arenaflex Sales and Marketing initiatives both through science communication and reference selling support in Salesforce. The three key characteristics that will make you successful in this role are:

  • The ability to work independently and check your own work to avoid errors
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • A genuine interest in science

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with customers to quantify the value arenaflex brings to their organization
  • Capturing customer stories in writing or video
  • Communicating complex scientific ideas clearly and effectively in the language of the customer
  • Distilling insights from a variety of academic and professional sources
  • Maintaining comprehensive reference indexes and other internal resources
  • Developing new resources and documenting best practices for Sales and Marketing partners
  • Ensuring that customer references are accurately and efficiently used across the company
  • Reviewing and approving reference profiles and nominations in Salesforce
  • Working with vendor to develop dashboards in Salesforce that map to reference selling priorities
  • Tracking and reporting on the effectiveness and impact
  • Providing program improvement recommendations based on an analysis of Salesforce data
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with scientists and engineers who use arenaflex
  • Demonstrating genuine curiosity about JMP users and their work

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current undergraduate student (preferably 3rd year) enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025
  • Major/coursework in Sales, Marketing, Journalism, or English is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and interest in a customer-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and work independently and proactively
  • Demonstrated passion for science and engineering

Timeline
