Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Fredericksburg, VA office. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders, answering billing questions, making policy changes, and offering recommendations to ensure their needs are met. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Answer billing questions, make policy changes, and offer recommendations to ensure policyholders' needs are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, building trust and loyalty through effective communication and empathy
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless service to policyholders
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or related field
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on problem-solving and relationship-building
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes quickly
  • Solid computer and multi-tasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the insurance industry or a related field

  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* Competitive salary: $21.34 per hour / $43,000.10 annually
