Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Building Sales: Help our branch build its sales by maintaining house accounts, communicating with dealers, and promoting new products and services.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service via walk-ins, phone calls, and emails, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate information.
- Sales Execution: Execute all aspects of the sales function, including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits to educate customers and improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to arenaflex policies.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform daily cash drawer processing, end-of-shift counts, and prepare deposit slips.
- Customer Feedback: Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with arenaflex products and services.
- Market Research: Monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory to stay ahead of the competition.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on sales activities.
- Professional Development: Expand your knowledge of HVAC products and stay current with the latest industry trends.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with all levels of management and peers to ensure seamless communication and effective teamwork.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- HVAC Knowledge: A strong understanding of HVAC equipment and products, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.
- Sales and Customer Service Experience: 6+ years of progressive sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and database applications, with excellent phone and email etiquette.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
