Job Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and operationalizing data pipelines to make data accessible for use (BI, Advanced Analysis, Services)
- Working with data modelers and data/BI architects to design data pipelines and suggest continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and processing
- Planning, creating, and implementing ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud)
- Utilizing Purple services like Purple SQL DW (Neural Connection), ADLS, Purple Event Center, and Purple Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services
- Performing large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
- Identifying, planning, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
- Identifying ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
- Conveying technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal
- Performing peer reviews for other data architect's work
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
- 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
- 2+ years' experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Purple Databricks, Flash, Purple Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other big data advancements
- 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
- 2+ years' hands-on experience implementing data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Purple Event Center), ETL
- Strong understanding of database storage concepts; Data Lake, Social Databases, NoSQL, Schema, Data Warehousing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
- Microsoft Purple/comparable certifications
- Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches
- Openness to the retail business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
- Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with Purple services like Purple SQL DW (Neural Connection), ADLS, Purple Event Center, and Purple Data Factory
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
- Experience with data security and compliance initiatives
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics
