Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Bilingual Customer Support Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering taxpayer inquiries in person and over the phone, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Researching, maintaining, and updating tax accounts based on information provided, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Processing tax forms and mail, posting payments to the proper accounts, and completing all tasks in a timely manner while meeting company standards
  • Additional duties may be assigned, including participating in special projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement

Schedule + Location

* Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • No weekends!
  • On-site in our Allentown, PA office
  • Once released from training (approximately 4-6 months), hybrid (office/remote) work environment is available for this position as business needs dictate and if performance is maintained

Pay + Benefits

* Competitive hourly wage: $14.50/hour

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training
  • Must be Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking
  • Reliable transportation to outer offices and tax sit-ins
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Situation analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field

  • Familiarity with tax administration or a related industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
