Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Data Science Analyst to join our team in Boston, USA. As a key member of our Hunt and Suggestions Examination group, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities
- Plan and run A/B trials of our latest proposal calculations
- Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine root causes, and resolve
- Build new tools that enable us to be more efficient and effective
- Work closely with our product, design, and AI partners to drive business outcomes
- Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., software engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or finance)
- Experience in data science or a related field, preferably with e-commerce companies
- In-depth knowledge of SQL (including query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, and database management systems like Vertica, Hive, Voila, and Flash)
- In-depth knowledge of Python and Python libraries (including Jupyter notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn, and matplotlib)
- Experience with experimental design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business-driven decision-making
- Familiarity with AI algorithms and strategies (e.g., decision trees, random forests, deep learning) in a business setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and cooperative attitude
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen, scientific skills, and technical capabilities, along with critical thinking abilities
