Job Description

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to driving excellence in quality control. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components
  • Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
  • Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities
  • Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding
  • Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
  • Performing other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analysis, statistics, business administration, or computer science)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and results to diverse audiences
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong working knowledge of data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, QuickBase)
  • Ability to understand the problem, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
  • Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications
  • Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help-desk environment
  • Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field is highly desirable
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analysis, statistics, business administration, or computer science)

  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, QuickBase)
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SQL)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, QlikView)
  • Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques
  • Experience with data governance and compliance
