About Our Company and the Role

Workwarp, in partnership with Actalent, is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to work remotely on a full-time basis. As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in processing prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects, and performing various tasks that support the utilization review team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, utilize your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and performing member and physician outreach
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into our data processing system accurately and efficiently
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, providing excellent customer service and support
• Collaborate with the utilization review team to ensure compliance with authorization guidelines and varying coverage types (State, Medicaid, Medicare)

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current State License and National Certification (CPhT or ExCPT)
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in using various software applications
• High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a remote or telephonic environment
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance billing, and authorization guidelines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
