Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and lead the development of data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems, integrating data from various sources, and providing data insights to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities

* Data Integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems that integrate data from various sources, including customer interactions, web analytics, and store networks.

• Business Intelligence and Reporting: Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions using tools like Microstrategy and SAS, creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Collaborate with business leaders to identify data needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources and systems.
• Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with arenaflex's data governance policies and industry regulations.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong Background in Data Engineering: Experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems, including data integration, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL: Experience with SQL (ideally BigQuery) and ability to write efficient and scalable queries.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with Data Science Tools: Experience with data science tools like Python, R, or Julia, and ability to apply machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
• Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Retail Industry Experience: Previous experience in the retail industry, with a strong understanding of customer behavior and market trends.
