Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be working from the comfort of your own home, providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. You will be responsible for answering inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

* Answering inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every caller feels heard, understood, and valued
• Utilizing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products
• Meeting or exceeding performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues orally and in written form
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering top-notch experiences
• Ability to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient
• High-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
• Ability to commute to the office in Charleston, WV when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
• Strong technical skills, with proficiency in using computer systems and software
