Experienced Customer Service Representative – Hybrid Remote Role with blithequark

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our customer-facing team, working closely with our customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide personalized support.
Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your specific duties will include:
- Assisting customers with their inquiries via inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicating clear and accurate information to customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that they are fully informed and empowered to make informed decisions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account information, including updates and changes to customer profiles and preferences.
- Identifying and resolving customer problems and issues in a prompt and efficient manner, often working closely with other departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Assisting with customer retention efforts, including renewing customer contracts and educating customers about service options and billing procedures.
- Serving as the customer's advocate, working closely with other departments to ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Escalating more complex issues as needed, working closely with senior team members and other stakeholders to ensure that customer concerns are addressed.
- Renewing customer contracts, educating customers about service options, and handling billing issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 1-2 years of customer service-related experience, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, often handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to identify and resolve customer problems and issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Strong follow-up skills, with the ability to respond promptly to customer requests and concerns.
- Ability to manage difficult customer situations and respond professionally to service requests.
Home Office Requirements
As a hybrid remote employee, you will be required to work from home 2 days a week, with the following equipment and setup:
- A dedicated workspace with a consistent power supply for individual use during working hours.
- A fast, reliable, and secure internet connection that is hard-wired to the modem.
- Computer and phone equipment will be supplied by blithequark.
