Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Chat Support Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos
  • Providing exceptional support and guidance to users, helping them navigate our platform and resolve any issues they may encounter
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement, ensuring our platform continues to evolve and meet the needs of our users
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our platform, its features, and its benefits
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer support and veterinary medicine
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or veterinary medicine)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support, preferably with intercom or other chat platforms
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help others succeed
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality, with excellent collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
  • Knowledge of veterinary medicine and the needs of veterinary professionals
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other support tools
  • Certification in customer support or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
