What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As our Virtualization Quality Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing an engineering team responsible for the quality of Apple's Virtualization technologies. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading a Team: You'll be responsible for leading a team of test and software engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.
• Developing Test Infrastructure: You'll develop test infrastructure, test frameworks, and tools to qualify virtualization technologies, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
• Creating Test Plans: You'll create test plans for specific features and ensure adequate test coverage, identifying risk areas during product and technology development.
• Promoting Virtualization Platform: You'll promote the virtualization platform as a first-class product supported by Apple products, ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience.
• Identifying Risk Areas: You'll identify risk areas during product and technology development, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution.

What is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• Leadership Experience: You'll need experience leading a team of test and software engineers, with a proven track record of success.
• Virtualization Knowledge: You'll need knowledge of Virtualization technologies such as KVM, ESX, HyperV, and VirtIO.

• Test Development Experience: You'll need experience with firmware, device-driver, and kernel-level test development.
