Key Responsibilities:

As a Full-Time Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional member service via phone, email, and online chat, responding to financial inquiries and resolving member issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Uncovering opportunities to recommend financial solutions that help maintain the member's relationship with the credit union
  • Assisting members with service requests and providing solutions on a variety of financial accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including preparing and inspecting documents
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex member issues and improve overall member experience
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to provide informed solutions to members

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a financial institution or related industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex member issues and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a non-member facing call center environment

  • Knowledge of financial products and services, including credit cards, loans, and deposit accounts
  • Familiarity with online chat platforms and software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. CFP, CFA)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish, for example)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and technologies
