Key Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional member service via phone, email, and online chat, responding to financial inquiries and resolving member issues in a timely and professional manner
- Uncovering opportunities to recommend financial solutions that help maintain the member's relationship with the credit union
- Assisting members with service requests and providing solutions on a variety of financial accounts
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including preparing and inspecting documents
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex member issues and improve overall member experience
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to provide informed solutions to members
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a financial institution or related industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex member issues and develop effective solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a non-member facing call center environment
- Knowledge of financial products and services, including credit cards, loans, and deposit accounts
- Familiarity with online chat platforms and software
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. CFP, CFA)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish, for example)
