Role Snapshot:

  • Job Title: Seasonal Sales Associate - Disney Springs
  • Department: Retail
  • Reports to: Store Manager/Captain, Assistant Manager/First Mate, or Management Trainee/Second Mate
  • Location: Disney Springs, Florida
  • Schedule: Flexible, including holidays, overnights, and weekends
  • Start Date: Immediate openings available
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($16-$20.61 per hour) + opportunities for additional compensation via non-discretionary awards for sales

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Sales and Customer Experience

  • Generate sales and meet sales goals and measures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top customers to drive repeat business
  • Support in-store event sourcing and execution to create engaging experiences for customers
  • Ensure the store reflects the Vineyard Vines brand promise of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" through exceptional customer service and hosting the party
  • Lead the store in email capture and educate new associates on best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer wish lists to ensure timely notifications when products arrive

Crew Development and Training

  • Assist with training new associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging, and energetic crew and customer environment
  • Help recruit and refer top talent for the store's teams
  • Support store and team-building activities with the management team to drive engagement and motivation

Operations and Merchandising

  • Maintain efficient merchandise controls to minimize loss and optimize inventory management
  • Maintain loss prevention awareness at all times to protect company assets
  • Help maintain a clean and tidy store environment to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Assist with merchandising tasks, including maintaining company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives
  • Contribute to weekly product feedback to inform inventory management and product development decisions

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sales and repeat business
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, and weekends

  • Excited to help recruit, train, motivate, and inspire as a large piece of your day-to-day responsibilities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service-oriented experience
  • Passion for the Vineyard Vines brand
  • Experience in a retail environment

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and/or move around for extended periods of time
  • Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
  • Lift up to 40 pounds, unless an accommodation is requested
