Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative at Sourcegraph, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement. You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage with new prospects through cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Sales Development: Develop and execute sales development strategies to drive pipeline growth and revenue.
  • Account Research: Conduct research on target accounts to identify key decision-makers and develop personalized outreach strategies.
  • Sales Tools and Processes: Utilize lead generation tools and sales software to manage and optimize sales activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years of Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in a B2B software sales environment.
  • Cold Calling Experience: Proven track record of success with cold calling and lead generation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software Sales Experience: Previous experience selling software or SaaS products.
  • Lead Generation Tools: Familiarity with lead generation tools and sales software.
  • Data-Driven: Experience working with data-driven sales strategies and analytics.
