If so, we invite you to join our team as an Experienced Customer Service Representative for our Medicare Retiree Solution Customer Service Center. This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity for candidates in the PST/CST/MST time zone, offering a competitive salary range and a $1000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $2000 after 180 days.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be the knowledgeable, trusted advocate for our Medicare members. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Educating plan benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues based on incoming telephone member contacts
  • Utilizing compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Providing empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations as our standard
  • Ensuring that every member is shown respect, kindness, and all questions are thoroughly answered and resolved
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to our members

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to apply patience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
  • Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting
  • Education beyond high school, such as a degree or certification in a related field

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is:

  • Minimum: $17.00
  • Maximum: $27.16

Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including:
