Job Summary

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at Sitel Group, you'll have the opportunity to work with a global network of insurance carriers, clients, and internal sources to provide coverage information, complete client service transactions, and make recommendations that drive results. Primary Job Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Interacting with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and answer inquiries
  • Completing a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed
  • Evaluating client needs and researching to make appropriate coverage recommendations
  • Completing carrier certifications to obtain Ready to Sell Status for multiple insurance providers
  • Utilizing tools and applications to complete needs assessments and provide personalized solutions
  • Resolving customer objections and offering additional benefits packages that provide increased coverage and cost savings
  • Participating in weekly reviews of quality standards and performance to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to complete pre-licensing coursework and pass the applicable resident state exam
  • The ability to pass the Insurance Application Form background screening as applicable by state
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated approach to learning and development
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to toggle between screens while chatting with clients
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  • Experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, or a related field is preferred
  • A high school diploma (higher education preferred)
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screening
