Responsibilities

As a Full Time & Part Time Retail Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for creating a friendly and welcoming environment for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and offering assistance to customers in a timely and courteous manner
• Balancing tasks and routines while ensuring that customers remain the top priority
• Smiling and saying hi to all customers and associates, and adhering to our Yes We Can policy to efficiently resolve customer questions and requests
• Consistently using the 5-step GREAT program while interacting with customers:

+ Greets and Engages Customer + Requests Credit + Explains Savings + Asks to Complete the Survey + Thanks the Customer

• Learning and adapting to current technology to assist customer needs
• Delivering the highest level of customer service through effective problem-solving
• Soliciting, opening, and activating Kohl's Charge applications and loyalty programs
• Ensuring that all cash handling procedures are done in accordance with policy and procedure
• Completing transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers
• Being flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed
• Adhering to Kohl's policy and procedures
• Maintaining regular attendance

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Be at least 16 years of age or older
• Have no education or experience requirements (we're looking for a fresh perspective!)
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in a clear and concise manner
• Be naturally curious and have a desire to learn
