W2 Opportunity: PowerEdge Server Specialist (Remote Position)

Job Description:

We are actively hiring for a PowerEdge Server Specialist (W2 Only, Remote) to support enterprise-level infrastructure operations. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong experience in Dell PowerEdge servers, system administration, and hardware lifecycle management who want to work with cutting-edge technology in a fully remote environment.

As part of our technical team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Dell PowerEdge servers and related systems. You’ll collaborate with IT operations, network engineers, and security teams to ensure smooth server performance while adhering to compliance and security standards.

This role is offered exclusively on a W2 basis (no C2C, no 1099). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

💰 Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $90,000 – $115,000/year (based on experience)

📌 Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Dell PowerEdge servers in a virtualized and physical environment

Monitor and optimize server performance, reliability, and uptime

Perform regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades

Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance and server hardening

Diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, and OS-related issues

Support storage, virtualization, and backup solutions integrated with PowerEdge

Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture, configurations, and procedures

Provide tier 2/3 escalation support for server-related incidents

Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution

✅ Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge servers (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting)

Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)

Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)

Experience with monitoring and management tools (OpenManage, iDRAC, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote team setting

Must be W2 eligible (no C2C or 1099 arrangements accepted)
