Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe physician dictations into specific, organized reports
• Utilize client-specific guidelines on content and formatting
• Locate patient records based on available information
• Perform monthly audits on existing jobs
• Adhere to all confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA
• Opportunity to take on an Editor role and assist with difficult reports that require advanced help

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical transcription
• CMT certification preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, pharmacology, and practices
• Ability to utilize multiple software platforms simultaneously
• Minimum accuracy standard of 98.7% required
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
