Why you'll love this job

This role is part of the American Airlines Credit Union team, where you'll be responsible for reviewing home equity loan requests, assisting members with loan closures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

What you'll do

• Set up home equity loan records, including providing disclosures to members, discussing loan terms, and reviewing loans for closure
• Perform daily reviews of the Home Equity pipeline
• Process closing documents for home equity loans
• Process Property Condition Reports for Home Equity Loans
• Process Verification of Work for Home Equity Loan applicants
• Book home equity loans
• Enter home equity loan data into daily Excel spreadsheets
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of related experience, preferably in a credit union environment

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in mortgage lending
• Prior customer service experience

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Credit Union and Episys systems
• Excellent member and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professional phone etiquette
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and analyze data
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as a vital part of a team in a diverse setting
• Ability to communicate professionally with all employees and members
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and prioritize work effectively
• Ability to self-motivate, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
