About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team as an Assistant Vice President. As a key member of our logistics and delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety, playing a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining a clean driving record
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, with the ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds)
• Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries, using knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries, and handling paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations
• Work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Must own an enclosed vehicle to use for deliveries (e.g., van or pickup with bed cover)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience with commercial driving preferred, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, and knowledge of route driving and navigation systems is beneficial

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related field
• Familiarity with FedEx systems and procedures
