Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote Video Operator to join the Disney team, working on exciting projects and events. Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the technical requirements of our remote transmissions, including painting and shading cameras, screening, investigating, and maintaining the technical aspects of our remote events
• Providing technical engineering expertise in the preparation, planning, and execution of a wide variety of events
• Adjusting video levels, black/white balance, and color balance between all cameras
• Troubleshooting any video issues, including camera, cabling, lens, and other technical concerns
• Managing and organizing remote compound video, fiber optic cable, and source lists
• Collaborating with Events and Production partners to develop workflows and ensure successful event execution

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in distant production operations at the network level in a Video role
• Strong knowledge of live production equipment operations
• Ability to read and operate a waveform/vectorscope (graphics - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using technical judgment and tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and remote production show needs
• Knowledge of fiber optic systems and cabling
