About the Role:
Join our dynamic Babbel Live team as an Online German (DAF) Teacher and inspire learners globally. As a key member of our online teaching community, you will deliver high-quality language instruction, foster engaging learning experiences, and contribute to our mission of creating mutual understanding through language.Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German; if German is not your native language, an official C2 CEFR certificate is required. Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with our Teacher Relations Team.
- Teaching Certification: DAF (or related) teaching certificate from a recognized educational institution; a degree in a language-related field is advantageous.
- Teaching Experience: Experience teaching German as a second language; online group teaching experience is a plus.
- Technical Equipment: Reliable high-speed internet, headset with microphone, laptop/desktop with camera, and proficiency in using Zoom.us.
- Adaptability & Communication: Ability to handle technical issues and challenging teaching situations with confidence and professionalism. Dynamic, didactic excellence with friendliness and openness.
- Freelance Status: Proof of freelance status; responsible for handling invoices and taxes.
