Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA) Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA) Project Coordinator to join our team at Bellevue College. As a key member of the eLearning department, you will be responsible for managing the tracking, coordination, and payment of workshops in the Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA). This is a temporary position with funding for one year, and we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting faculty and students in an online learning environment.Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling, tracking, communication, and data of OETA trainings
- Guide faculty in understanding and meeting OETA training requirements
- Maintain tracking databases with necessary personnel data
- Build reports and graphs to display information relevant to completion of tasks
- Coordinate room reservations or online Zoom sessions for upcoming training sessions
- Serve as the main point of contact for the OETA project
- Provide consultation and support to faculty and staff
- Assist with system administration for eLearning platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- 1 year of experience working with Canvas or another LMS system
- 1 year of large-scale project management experience with at least 500 users
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with databases and create visual aids
- Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience working with diverse colleagues and/or students in a collaborative and inclusive environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of Learning Management System Administration experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of all modalities of learning and how to make online learning accessible
- Effective skills in researching and analyzing eLearning programs
