Job Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nodal Officer to join our team at Workwarp, a pioneering company in the gaming universe. As a Nodal Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, acting as a liaison with law enforcement agencies, and coordinating with internal teams to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to gaming laws, cyber laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks in India, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory changes.
• Operational Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to respond to legal notices, FIRs, and other inquiries from authorities, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, external legal counsel, and consultants to ensure compliance across all functions, and update stakeholders on regulatory changes that impact business operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance reports, regulatory filings, and documentation, and prepare reports and presentations for management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• LLB graduate with 2-4 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulatory liaison roles, preferably in the gaming or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of gaming laws, cyber laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks in India, as well as data protection and privacy laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures, and high level of accuracy and detail orientation for maintaining compliance documentation.
